In the 2026/27 year, we are focusing on 3 key priorities.

SEND reform is the key issue facing the sector and KALE will work to ensure that the community of education leaders can inform and shape the local change and get the support needed to implement it.

We have long promoted the principles of Peer-to-Peer Learning and this year we will be laying the foundations of practical mechanisms that make it easier for schools to support and learn from each other.

Advocating for education leaders in Kent has long been KALE’s core purpose and at a time of significant change and challenge we will work to make sure that this voice is heard and acted upon.

You can read more about each of these priority projects and find out how to get involved on the pages in this section of the website.
