Connecting leaders with local school-led networks
Building professional networks and relationships is vital to the success and longevity of those in challenging school leadership roles.
Local networks for Headteachers and other school leaders provide important opportunities for leaders to meet and discuss local issues, priorities and challenges, to create local solutions and grow collaborations between schools.
These networks are set up by and led through the efforts of local leaders.
KALE’s role is to promote these networks to ensure that every leader knows about the networks that they may find it useful to join.
Leaders of every network are invited to join the relevant KALE Area Board. This cross-membership ensures that the specific perspectives of local networks are brought into the wider, area-based conversations and the Area Boards can identify the shared issues that benefit from a larger-scale action and focus.
