Bringing the community together to be informed, inspired and create collaborative solutions
For many years, KALE has run an annual conference to bring together leaders from Primary, Secondary and Special schools, together with FE colleagues. These events have been greatly appreciated by those who attended and they played an important role in making time to refresh and energise Headteachers as well as to form personal connections and sustain relationships. Despite securing sponsorship the cost of running large scale events such as the annual conference meant having to charge leaders to attend. Although many leaders attended regularly many others told us that they could not afford either the time or the cost.
KALE surveyed members in early 2026 and as a result of their feedback has decided to try a new approach in 2026/27.
